Afghan interim gov't implements hundreds of development projects in 12 months

Afghanistan's interim government has implemented hundreds of development projects over the past 12 months, aiming to improve public services in remote and underserved areas, local media outlet TOLOnews reported on Friday.

According to the report, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development oversaw the implementation of projects such as check dams, road construction, water supply networks, and bridge constructions, with a total value amounting to billions of afghani.

Construction of check dams has been completed in 142 districts across 13 provinces, with additional infrastructure work still underway, the report added.

The Afghan interim government has announced plans to launch more development and infrastructure projects nationwide to boost the economy and create jobs.
