TEHRAN, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- Iran and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday exchanged views on the latest developments in the region, especially Gaza, according to a statement released by the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
In a phone call, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE's deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs, also discussed the expansion of bilateral relations, the statement said.
The Iranian foreign minister underlined Israel's "addiction to warmongering and law-breaking," stressing that all regional states should be vigilant against Israel's "conspiracies to compromise security" in West Asia.
The statement added the two sides reviewed bilateral relations in the political, economic and trade areas and highlighted the necessity to expand relations between their countries in the fields of common interest. Enditem
